I am a full time artist living in California. I have attended California Institute of the Arts and Orange Coast College to learn the basics, though I am essentially self taught -I've been drawing and painting ever since I can remember... I have exhibited in galleries throughout Southern California -mostly Los Angeles, Long Beach, Laguna Beach and elsewhere. My work is collected throughout the United States. I live on the California coast where the light has a bright clarity and so vivid color is always an important factor in the creation of my paintings. I also love to draw. I work in small, medium and large scales, generally acrylic on canvas and sometimes panel. I like to work in series which have resulted in various subjects, from still-life, landscape and figurative, to abstraction and surrealism -but all with a consistent style and technique that I have developed over the course of many years.
